These Terms govern your use of md→docx at formatyourdesigndoc.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

md→docx converts Markdown into Microsoft Word (.docx) documents.

Accounts

Exporting requires signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials (including any API token) secure. An API token is like a password — do not share it.

Plans, billing & cancellation

• The free tier includes a limited number of exports.
• Premium is a subscription of $2.00 USD per month, billed through Stripe. It renews automatically each month until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods.
• We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice.

Your content

You retain all rights to the Markdown you submit and the documents you generate. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service (for example, to generate your .docx and maintain your history). You are responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to use it.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent rate limits or security controls.
• Do not resell the Service or reverse engineer it, except as permitted by law.

Availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that output will be error-free or suitable for any particular use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $20.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
